Reinhard and Max Mannesmann revolutionized the industry by developing the first rolling processes for the production of seamless pipes - a breakthrough that laid the foundation for the worldwide Mannesmann dynasty. The historic villa in Remscheid-Bliedinghausen was built as the administrative headquarters of the Mannesmann family and is evidence of the company's deep roots in the region. This magnificent residence reflects the economic heyday of that time and today serves as the administrative headquarters of Brüder Mannesmann AG.

Mannesmann Automobilwerke KG was registered in the commercial register of Remscheid. The company specialized in the production of agricultural machinery, trucks and passenger cars.
